THE MOST REVOLUTIONARY IDEAS ARE OFTEN THE MOST SIMPLE

Such is the case with Nudown. By utilizing an infinitely available natural resource that just so happens to be one of the most-efficient, heat-retaining substances known to science, we’ve not only risen above the controversies of traditional down, we’ve made personalized, fully-adjustable warmth a game-changing reality.

OUR SECRET IS AIR

With our signature NuTech technology, you simply squeeze a convenient, in-pocket pump, forcing air into the chambers surrounding your torso. The more air you pump in, the more air you trap between yourself and the garment. This “inner” air is warmed by your body and held tight to produce your ideal warmth. As conditions change, you can release air to cool down or add more air for even greater insulation.

Gone are needless layers, bothersome bulk, and the outdated techniques of traditional down. In their place, an innovative new era of thermal efficiency and personalized temperature control.

AS WARM AS YOU WANT TO BE

5 pumps give you an initial blast of insulation that will suffice for normal activity on slightly chilly days.

10 pumps will get you started in harsher conditions.
15-20+ pumps will protect you in the cruelest of colds, like when you’re on the lift waiting to take that extra end-of-the-day run.

NOTE: Pump calculations are baseline references using a medium-sized garment. Personal preference and garment size will result in a variation of the number of pumps required.

RUFFLING FEATHERS, NOT PLUCKING THEM.

We’re not out to just challenge the practices of the outerwear industry, we’re out to blow them away.

Literally.

NuDown is a brand founded on the belief that technology can improve lives and eliminate suffering, for animals as well as humans. And with our patented NuTech inflation technology, we’ve done just that.

We’ve given the world a clean, efficient, and unquestionably ethical alternative to the harsh realities of the down industry. A scientific, win-win solution that’s beyond debate.

We use air. They use feathers. Feathers grow on birds. And there are two ways to separate a bird from its feathers: A company can either pluck the feathers it needs from a living, feeling bird, or they can kill the bird first.
